IT"S FESTIVAL SEASON!!!!!

Thanks to everyone who came to Playground Weekender out in the boondox and supported a very difficult day for Reckless Republic. As most of you witnessed we were getting chewed out by the festival organisers most of the day for our progressive music policy. Unfortunately we were threatened with being shut down and turned off repeatedly by the organisers despite them not paying for any of our acts and supplying us with 2 foldback speakers to run our stage. As most of you saw we supplied our own sound system on the Sunday to make the arena sound acceptable but then got hassled all day about our music. It was really disappointing for most of you (including myself and Warren) but what can ya do hey!!! That's LIFE!!!!

Yeah so with all these festivals it's getting a bit stupid really....week in week out.......this week is the very mahoosive Future festival at Randwick Racecourse which most of you are going to. Make sure you keep your armband on as we will give you a discounted entry if you can flash it at the door this week.

Every Sunday Morning from 4:30am @ Plantation Bar aka Spice Plantation. Enter via the private entrance opposite Barons 2A Roslyn Street, The X. SPICE is the after hours party for people who know their music. SPICE will continue to be the home of all you relentless party people who need that extra dose of musical filth before scurrying home for Sunday mass. And just so you know, our music policy will continue to stay clean of anything fluffy, handbag or gay (not gay as in homosexual right, gay as in gay).

We have some of the best DJs and electronic wizards in the country and from around the world playing at Spice. Internationals at Spice in the last year have included Tocadisco, King Roc, Bjorn Wilke, Jon Carter, Chopstick, Electric Press, Alex Kid, Malente & Clive Henry to name a few as well as some of Australia's creme such as Mark Dynamix & John Course.

Spice has been growing organically for the last 18 months and we do not advertise at all. When we feature international acts we send out an SMS to our database at midnight Saturday to let you know who they are. If you would like to be added to this list just send us an email with your mobile number.

Drop us an email if you would like to be placed on the guest list for this weekend.

Word up.

Peace Love Unity Respect
